Sky Sports reporter Graeme Bailey this afternoon reported on his Twitter page that Habib Beye should join Doncaster Rovers on loan until the end of the season.
The 34 year old former Newcastle defender joined Aston Villa in 2009, but has never been able to break into the first team, only starting on 9 occasions.
His contract is up at the end of the season, so I am sure he will be looking to secure a possible contract at the side who are currently sitting at the foot of the Championship.
Emile Heskey to Leicester
Former England International Emile Heskey has stated that he would love a return to Leicester City, but insisted his loyalties currently lie with Aston Villa.
The striker is out of contract at the end of the season, and this could be his ‘come and get me’ plea to the Championships answer to Manchester City.
Heskey told the Leicester Mercury: “Hypothetically, I would love to come back, so never say never – but my current loyalty obviously remains to Villa,”
“Because I was born and raised in Leicester, and my family still live there, and it is the club where everything started for me, I can’t say I will never go back.“Who knows where football will take me. We will have to just wait and see, but I can’t rule it out.”Heskey has never been a real fans favourite, but for me he has started to do a job this season for us, although he has never really scored many which has always been the strikers downfall.
