Villa to Villa?
Article By Dave Beeston5 Comments »Dec 14, 2011
The big news & maybe still a rumour but a massive state of intent is that Aston Villa are linked with Barcelona’s David Villa
Every Villa fan I know of has always dreamt of having the Asturian forward move to the Midlands outfit & the dream has become more a reality. The Spanish paper – ‘Marca’ – have linked David Villa with a move to the premier league. They go on to say the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool & Villa are interested to bring in the forward.
Here is the link to the Story (But sadly in Spanish) Link
But me being the nice person I am I have translated it for you:
Barca opens the door to Villa
The player, upset about losing weight in the team
Signed for 4 years and one optional
The love affair between Barcelona and David Villa coming to an end, just two years later. The Catalan club has put on the market Asturian striker, who plans to transfer next summer.
The Catalan club paid two years ago by Valencia between 40 and 42 million euros for his transfer. The player signed a four-year, one option at a rate of 7 million euros (gross) per season.
Today, the future of David Villa seems to be in England. Their fate seems to be one of the great English clubs, mainly Chelsea, Liverpool and Aston Villa. The Anfield have shown much interest in his move, although its economic offer does not seem to get to Chelsea.
So that would leave only Villa & Liverpool battling it out for David Villa. Do I think it could happen? Well, Yes. We have just cut the wage bill down for no reason & also got rid of or in the stages of getting rid of some of the deadwood on stupid wages at Aston Villa.
Not only would it bring fans back into Villa Park, but ,look at the shirt sales it will produce with fans queuing up to have ‘Villa 10′ put onto their shirts.
I know it is a bit of a wet dream but lots of Villa fans are now dreaming that this link is true – Would it be another huge buy like Bent – yes, but fans would fall in love with the club once again

Its funny seeing how deluded fans can be when it comes to their own club. There is about as much chance of David Villa signing for Havant and Waterlooville as there is of him signing for Aston Villa. I like Villa, theyre a bit of a sleeping giant and I think one day they can be huge again but for the moment, they will not be signing David Villa.
Ricky Villa?
You can put it this way. I will play for Aston Villa before David Villa does….
I have taught Randy well. When the fans want him out, buy a player to appease them.
However, I’m told the only reason Villa wont move to Villa is the manager. He doesn’t want to play that style of football.
Yeah ricky villa more like lol. Except he crosses the halfway line too much for McLeish’s liking!!
