I was going to make this two separate posts, one for the season and one for the West Ham match tomorrow, but for space sake, I’ve decided to combine them on one post. This is going to be a very exciting season and an unknown one as well, especially with a new manager coming in.

Villa owner Randy Lerner is in no rush to appoint a new manager. It’s rumoured that Randy is yet to compile a shortlist of candidates for the job.

Young American defender Eric Lichaj has signed a 3 year deal after his impressive pre-season form. The young full-back has shown what he is capable of and the American plans to break into the Villa first team and get his first call up to the American national side.
