• EXCLUSIVE: Photos of possible new owners??

Whilst reading through Aston-Villa views article that they published early this afternoon regarding the possible takeover & sale of Aston Villa (by the way, good read Ian). I received a message from a close friend of mine who has contacts within Aston Villa.

The message I received had this to say:

Look who is standing with Spinky & Taylor ;)

Upon opening the message I found the following

Ok, I admit, I did do a bit scream when I saw these. But, I had to ask them the question. I asked them who they was? are these the new owners or are they just some random guys from around the Birmingham area? The reply I got was:

According to staff I have spoken to they are the potential new buyers of Aston Villa ;)

Take this as you will, but if this is the case, this puts the nail in the coffin for me.

IF THESE ARE the new owners considering to buy AVFC I would like to be the first to welcome them both whoever they maybe to Aston Villa Football Club.

  • QIA or Not QIA – There Is No Smoke Without Fire

To be honest with you guys, I was very spectacle to the news that the Q.I.A was looking at buying Aston Villa.

But as I said before, I am a firm believer that Randy will not be in charge of Villa come next season.

The idea that people think that we are cutting the wage bill to its bare bones to then rebuild the squad again by spending millions is a bit O T T.

Randy this season, I don’t think has put any of his own cash into Villa. I’m in the thinking, that the bonus & TV revenue went onto buy Given, CNZ, Hutton, Stevens & Jenas. The point that we only signed Keane on a £500k deal points to the fact Randy was unwilling to splash his cash.

The other point being is the North Stand. Plans where in place to rebuild the stand & then have it fall into line with St James’. People inside of Villa have said its been shelved due to the financial climate.

Aston Villa have also contacted season ticket holders asking to do a survey. Over the years I have had my ticket I have never been asked to do one. Cutting the long story short, it was a call to see if I was renewing next season. When asked if I wouldn’t renew if we got a low league place again points to me, that Randy just wants to club to survive in the league.

My response to the customer services rep was “if Alex is still there I won’t be”. Alex at the end of the day is a short term fix. The press are very much focused on him & the team. This allows the board to act like Ninjas & play it low key.

Whether its the Q.I.A or anyone else. Many are getting itchy feet over Randy & the board with the direction the club is going.

Being a ticket holder our home attendances have been poor. 10,000 people don’t stop coming for a reason. If I’m being honest, the public have had some awesome deals to get fans back in. Which does make you wonder this season at least why bother having a season ticket.

Don’t you find it weird that villa posted that Randy had been here over the last few weeks to talk to Alex. But, in a interview recently Alex said he hadn’t seen Randy since after Christmas?

Why did Villa also post on Twitter ON THE DAY that the prince was supposedly going to Bodymoor Heath about Randy being there also?

I would love to be a fly on the wall to see Villa’s end of season figures. I bet they are alarming.

So why would Randy be balancing the books by cost cutting including the wage bill to then rip it all up & spend millions of pounds?

  • Lucas Barrios & Armin Bacinovic

Aston Villa are today being linked with two players, one I am very aware of and rate pretty highly and another I have never heard of.

German media are reporting that both Villa and Chelsea are interested in Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios.

The two clubs are said to do battle with Spanish moneybags Malaga for the Paraguayan international’s signature. He scored 16 times for the German club last season but has since fell out of favour at the club.

It is believed that that the player will cost in access of £15million.

I am a big follower of this striker and I rate him very highly. Could he do a job for us? Yes he could but I believe he will go to a bigger club like Malaga or Chelsea.

    Armin Bacinovic

Sky Sports are this afternoon reporting that the agent of Armin Bacinovic has stated that Aston Villa are seriously interested in the Slovenia international.

The midfielder is only 22, and is believed to have stated openly that he would love to play his trade in the Premiership one day.

He is currently out of favour at Italian side Palermo, and Villa will face competition from both Napoli and Chievo.

Amir Ruznic told Zurnal24: “Everything is still open at the moment. Aston Villa are really serious, but as are Chievo.

“I really thought that by the weekend, everything would be sorted, but I have a feeling that we might just have to wait until the very last few days of the transfer window.

“It’s a fact that Armin would like to stay with his current club Palermo, but only if he could play regular first-team football.

“President Maurizio Zamparini has a high opinion of him, but we’ll see what talks with other clubs will eventually bring to us.”
